Microfinance Digitization

  1. ​​​​​​Mobile Apps Collection: Mobile Aps collection is being implemented in all branches. This process ensures digitization for the transaction and eases the record-keeping process, providing real-time status and also reduces paperwork in branch offices.
  2. Mobile Payment Gateway with Bkash: It is a growing demand for RDRS microfinance program. An agreement was signed with Bkash for this service. Initially, our plan is to start with Unnati borrowers to pay their instalment through Bikash wallet.
  3. An agreement was signed with HISHAB a private limited company incorporated in Bangladesh for providing a voice user interface over telecommunication network for microfinance institute. HISHAB provides two types of services- 1. VRS (Voice Reporting Service) and 2. Verification of the last transaction (Real time audit). The service will be initiated from mid of April 2023.
  4. An agreement was signed with SOUTHTECH on SMS Integration service and as per agreement, SOUTHTECH will integrate Real Time SMS features for RDRS by April 2023, hence RDRS will be able to send SMS message to its members after transaction.
