  • Hands-on experience in donor reporting, ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure within deadlines.
  • Experience in online data collection software and application program MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship with other and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is preferred.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the RDRS operational areas and beyond.
  • Age and education may be relaxed for the highly deserving candidates.
  • Should have acquire knowledge on Organizational Safeguarding & Gender Policy.

Responsibilities & Context

RDRS Bangladesh is going to implement Strengthening the Maternal and Neonatal Health System in Rangpur, Bangladesh Project in Rangpur and Lalmonirhat Disrict supported by Save The Children International (SCI).

  • Develop project online MIS system and data hub of the project.
  • Develop and use necessary prescribed monitoring software for data management and reporting.
  • Responsible to develop monitoring system of Jononi project activities through developing monitoring guideline for the project.
  • Develop monitoring tools, guidelines and implementation to measure progress in the line with the project MEAL Plan.
  • Assist the project management, management of health facilities (UHFWC, Upazila Health Complex) sharing the monitoring findings for the improving the quality of implementation.
  • Guide, orient project staffs, stakeholders regarding project monitoring activities.
  • Give support to UHFWCs establishing MIS System/automation system in data management of Jononi Project services delivered.
  • Monitor the quality of data relevant services of UHFWCs for pregnant women and new-born babies for further improvement.
  • Monitor the readiness of the target UHFWC facilities such as facility renovation, sitting arrangement, `breastfeeding corner, necessary equipment and support staff to make the Union Health and Family Welfare Centers (UHFWC) 24/7 available for Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD).
  • Monitor the input and progress performance of the SMNHSR Project and share with management for further improvement.
  • Develop data collection tools to collect data and reporting template to meet the requirement of the MEAL System.
  • Undertake regular filed visits to monitor and check the accuracy of data collection and use of tools.
  • Ensure compliance and quality of data in the line with RDRS and donor requirements.
  • Assist to managing and monitoring programmers' and activities in order to achieve the goal and objectives of the project at the field level.
  • Take lead role in case of any survey/study in the project, evaluation for the project and similar activities for the project.
  • Develop Indicator performance Tracking Table (IPTT) tool to track progress through indicator specific segregated data.
  • Assist to prepare project and programmed budgets and prepare action & monitoring reports as per proper time frame.
  • Conduct satisfaction survey and share the report with RDRS Management and Donar.
  • Ensure that all MEAL related information and documentation are stored in secure locations (Online and offline) in line with the Donar requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, Quarterly, & Final project reports and share with the RDRS Management & Donar as per the reporting.
  • Collect case stories and assist project team for reporting.
  • Assist to collect quantitative and qualitative data on a regular basis and take effective measures to meet the project targets plan.
  • Conduct On-site distribution monitoring (ODM) Post distribution monitoring (PDM) & knowledge exercise, and share the key learning internally and externally.
  • Responsible to coordinate with donor agency counterpart person for sharing, ensuring monitoring activities and relevant reports submission meeting and deadline.
  • Assist to facilitate training and workshops with community members and different committees.
